How does mobile physical therapy work?
Once you schedule an appointment, a licensed physical therapist will visit your home at a convenient time for you. During the session, they will assess your condition, create a personalized treatment plan, and guide you through exercises and therapies tailored to your goals. We bring all necessary equipment to ensure you receive high-quality care.
What areas do you serve?
We currently serve the Greater Fairfield area. If you're unsure if we cover your area, give us a call, and we can let you know.
What should I wear for my physical therapy session?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for easy movement. If we are focusing on a specific area, like your knee or shoulder, ensure that the clothing allows access to that part of your body.
What do I need to prepare for a home visit?
All you need is a clear space where you feel comfortable moving around. Our therapist will bring all necessary equipment, such as exercise bands, weights, or massage tools.
Why choose a cash-based physical therapy service?
Cash-based services allow us to provide a more personalized and focused approach to your care. Without the limitations often imposed by insurance companies, we can spend more time with you, offer more flexibility in treatment options, and ensure direct access to our specialists. This model empowers you to make informed decisions about your health and wellness journey.
What services do you offer?
We specialize in:
Physical Therapy: Rehabilitation for surgical and non-surgical injuries, offering at-home (mobile) services
Sport-Specific Mobility and Fitness Programs: Including Golf Movement Screens by a Titleist Performance Institute certified expert and Baseball Pitching and Hitting Movement Screens to prevent injury and enhance performance.
How long are the evaluation and treatment sessions?
Our comprehensive evaluations AND follow up sessions are 60 minutes in length to ensure a thorough assessment of your condition and needs. This flexibility allows us to provide focused, 1-on-1 care tailored to your individual goals. Unlike traditional PT, we have the time to hone in on the surrounding areas that may be contributing to your pain.
How often will I need to come in for treatment?
Thanks to our ability to provide dedicated one-on-one care for 60 minutes, many of our patients find that they only require one visit per week. This efficient and effective approach ensures that you receive the focused attention you need to make progress, while also accommodating your busy schedule.
How do I know if Swing & Sport Physical Therapy and Performance is right for me?
If you are a motivated individual who values health, wellness, and physical activity, our services are designed for you. Whether you're recovering from an injury, looking to improve your athletic performance, or seeking to maintain your fitness levels safely, our personalized approach ensures that your specific goals are our top priority.
How does payment work?
As a cash-based practice, payment is due at the time of service. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. While we do not bill insurance directly, we can provide you with a superbill upon request that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. You will be made aware of cost up front, without the unexpected charges that often come with in-network health care services.
Can I use my health insurance?
While we do not process insurance claims directly, many of our clients use their out-of-network benefits to seek reimbursement for our services. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to understand your out-of-network coverage for physical therapy services.
Do you offer packages or memberships?
Yes, we offer a variety of packages and memberships tailored to meet the needs of our clients. These options provide flexibility and can offer cost savings for those requiring multiple sessions or ongoing training. During your initial consultation, we can discuss the best options for your treatment plan and goals.
